Don't let February Fly By, FitStop!

It's the last week of February. Where did that go?

Let's take a second and think back at this month. It flew by! It's a short one but it packed a punch, eh? Electrical issues. Storms. Valentines. You blinked, you missed it.

However, that doesn't have to be the case for this last week of the month!!


I have an idea. Come on in and let me share.

What if..... what if we take advantage of every single day of the rest of February? What if we make the most of this month of love? What if we give our all?

Doesn't that sound nice?

Ah, but how, you may ask?


  1. Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

  2. Exercise every day! Yes, I said everyday. Physical activity of any type. The gym is open everyday---- take advantage. If you can't go, do something at home.

  3. Drink water!

  4. Smile more!

  5. Talk about what you love rather than what you don't.

  6. Spread some positivity.

  7. Donate something.

  8. Tell someone you appreciate them!

  9. Let go of a grudge.

  10. And most of all: Be kind. Be kind Today. Be kind each day. Make a point of it. Don't just expect it to happen, b/c sometimes it doesn't. Be kind on purpose.

So, FitStop, don't let February fly away anymore. Let's grab it by the day and fly with it!

We are getting some new yoga blocks. I will try to clean up the old ones, but some of them are kind of yucky.


If you have a birthday in February, I hope you've entered your name in the draw. I will be drawing a winner in a few days!!! You could win some FitStop or Matrix swag!


Thank you for the great participation in our FitStop group classes! I want to give a shoutout to all our instructors for making their classes so special!!

*Heather with her Evening Stretch and Mobility on Wednesdays at 6pm!! Such a great time to stretch, folks. Join her!

*Adrienne with her beginner pilates on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am. This class guides you through the beginning stages of pilates which is primarily a core concentrated class.

*Greg with his midday yoga Tuesdays at 1:30pm. A popular class from the day he started!

*Susan with her Intermediate Pilates on Fridays at 10am. This is a great follow through from the beginner pilates. A little harder.

*Karla with her Hiit classes! Alternating weeks doesn't stop her from giving a great cardio/strength class.

*Gloria with her DanceFit in Wilmot. Mon/Wed 10:30am. Need I say more?

*And myself, Tracy. Thank you for your patience in waiting for me to teach when I am physically and mentally able to these months.


The door to the gym wasn't working very well yesterday, and so please be patient as they work on it.


Also, there are a few bikes in need of seat repairs. Please be patient as we look at these as well.
